$69Where and when is packet pickup?
At 1Solar, 819 Lagoon Drive. Farmington, UT 84025.
- Thursday, Oct 1st from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (100M and any other distance is welcome to come this day.)
- Friday, Oct 2 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
If I miss packet pickup, can I get my packet the morning of the race?
Yes, but this means you'll be missing the party at packet pickup, and we wouldn't want that.
How do we check-in to the race?
Check-in happens before race day. We’ll send a Google Form for you (the runner) to complete, including your pacer’s information — pacers do not fill this out. There will also be a QR code at packet pickup.
We will not check anyone in on the morning of the race.
Are pacers allowed?
Yes, and you may use multiple pacers but only one at a time.
55K may use them at Zig Zag and Mueller Park.

Note for the 100 miler:
Pacers that start at East Mountain Wilderness Park can drop at Farmington Pond, but they must arrange their own ride down. If they drop there, the runner goes solo from that point to Zig Zag.
Do not start a pacer at Farmington Canyon. No one starts or stops as a pacer at Francis Peak or Bountiful Peak — we need those roads kept clear of extra vehicles.
Summerwood and Zig Zag- Pacers must park below and walk up to the actual aid station. We need to keep those stations clear.
Are drop bags allowed?
Yes!
For the 50 miler there are three spots. Farmington Canyon (mile 19) and Mueller Park (mile 35). Runners can also have one at the start line if they want to wear warm clothes but don't want to carry them. They can put them in a bag and we will take it to the finish line.
For the 55k there is one spot for a drop bag. Mueller Park (mile 20). Runners can also have one at the start line if they want to wear warm clothes but don't want to carry them. They can put them in a bag and we will take it to the finish line.
These can be dropped off at packet pickup (preferred) or at the start of the race.
There are no drop bags for the 25K
Are there cutoffs?
55K and 50 Miler have one cutoff at Mueller Park. They must leave this aid station by 5:00 PM.
How will the course be marked?
The course will use signs and blue flags for the entire race. We will not use any ribbon.
Are there shuttles available?
Yes we have a shuttle service that will take runners from Tunnel Springs Park to the start line(s).

How do I sign up?
What's your deferral or cancellation policy?
Entry fees are non-refundable. Putting on DC Peaks takes a lot of planning, permitting, staffing, insurance, and logistics, so we need a full commitment from every runner.
- Optional Rollover Insurance is $25 at checkout (also non-refundable). If you buy it, you can roll your entry to the next year.
- A deferral is not automatic. You still have to register again. We’ll send an invite when registration opens, or you can sign up yourself. The free entry is tied to your email.
- You can transfer your entry to another runner whether or not you bought insurance.
How should I dress for the races?
Be prepared for hot or cold weather. It's a different world up at Francis Peak. We've had hot years and we've been slammed with snow & rain. It's part of the adventure! Please be checking the weather.
Do you offer an early start?
We are offering an early start for the 50 mile race only. They can start at 4am. Just make sure you let us know that you will be starting early via the Google form we send out.
No early start for the 100M, 55K, or 25K.
Can people track the runners?
Yes, there will be a link on our homepage where you can track runners via Open Split Time.
Who do I contact about sponsoring this race?
Email us at dcpeaks50@gmail.com

Do you have medical staff on hand?
Yes, we will have doctors, paramedics, nurses, and vehicles ready.
Experience requirements for the 100M
No. We are not requiring a previous 50-mile (or similar) finish.
Most of the course has cell service, it stays close to the Wasatch Front and city limits, and every 100-mile runner will have a tracking device.
What are we doing to help protect the safety of the runners?
We will have side-by-side vehicles on the course available to help take runners off the mountain in case of emergency. We will be checking runners in and out of each aid station, which will help us know where each runner is throughout the day. We will have some medical staff on the course available to assist injured runners. Runners must also download the gpx file for the route and the alt route. It’s important to do it so you know you’re on the right path.
